Is the Vanilla Card (VISA) still fine to verify eBay and paypal?

If not I guess Entropay is the way to go?

Vanilla Visa Gift Cards are fine for "Confirming" your PayPal, yes. Entropay will cause your PayPal to get limited.

Yeah going to use it to confirm the PP so eBay will let me list then i'll be addingthe PP acc as the eBay payment method (fees/shipping/returns/etc)

No, Vanillas are becoming a problem to use on Pypl. Just simply adding a Vanilla Visa or Mastercard even without any activity gets your account limited. However, confirming them on EB is still perfectly fine.

It might be the BIN that's causing the problem. I've made 2 accounts in the last 30 days with Vanilla with the BIN 4941 60 and didn't have any problems. What's the BIN on the cards you had problems with. (1st 6#'s of the card)...

or maybe it could be the combination of a prepaid card BIN and address that isn't popping up in their validation system due to mislabeling the city plus singing up with a free email service that triggers the algorithm.

before you use a address, run it through USPS's system to make sure you are using the proper address. The house might be in one city, but the proper mailing address is in another.

This is only my opinion, but I believe there are too many people that add prepaid gift cards to their PP account to buy things online for PP to ban them all together. If anything they just stepped up their algorithm. It's not a deal breaker, if you want something more reliable get a VBA from here to make the PP and add a gift card to remove limits when that time comes after you gained some trust w/ them. It's only another $5. If you mess up one vanilla card it will have paid for it's self

From my understanding every US gift card or prepaid re-loadable BIN will tell PP what it is. If someone knows that statement is incorrect please let me know because I'd love to know the answer to that question.

Sorry to bump an old thread. I'm looking to verify my PayPal of 3 months to raise the withdrawal limit and was thinking of using a vanilla gift card to do this, so are you saying this method is no longer valid?

Just so you know......Entropay has not worked for USA for a while, it's been tested and proven to NOT work anymore, it might be fine for other Countries but so far not good for USA.

Vanilla has been iffy for both Paypal and Etsy, eBay seems fine tho. It's really hit or miss lately with some cards I've picked up. I've switched to using the Walmart Gift Cards and American Express ones.

Vanilla gift cards work good u guys must not be getting the right one I order the $25 ones online at Walmart.com ships in 2 days and it works every time for PayPal and eBay. Make sure u add zip code too.

Google "Prepaid, Gift, Virtual card detection" and you'll get a better understanding of the situation.

Yes they work, but are far from optimal.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I've been looking for a USA VCC to use with paypal for 2 days straight and am still confused about what is good and what isn't.
So now everyone is saying vanilla gift cards are bad, could someone give me a better one to use so as to not limit my stealth paypal account? Thank you

Hey I just wanted to follow up and see if you got this issue resolved. To make it clear I know there is a lot of confusion on here. If I am not mistaken what you re trying to confirm is the ONEvanilla Visa card that is gray that is a "1 Time reload" card right? The one where you do not have to add your social or any sensitive information? If that's correct, I have a couple quid questions on how you guys or anyone who has experience with this process was able to confirm it. I contacted PayPal and had them send the small charge which will have the 4 digit PayPal code in transaction but everytime I do this I never receive the transaction. I will check after 5 days, sometimes 10 days, and still nothing. Is there something I am doing wrong? Did this method sour or go bad. Does PayPal ghost one vanilla cards now? HELP!!!

Did you register the zip code of the card to match your pp account info?

Avoid using phrases like "HELP!!!" in your posts, fyi
