CC# not working
 

My 5yr old ebay accnt can't list anymore items until I verify a CC. I got a simon giftaccount, filled in the info that I registered with and tried to verify. They are hitting it for the $1 authorizations but saying it failed. I can see the authorizations on ebay!

Any ideas???
I typed the info in Simon exactly as it was in my info I reg with ebay. Tried 3x nothing!

Ok, just to help you guys out. I tried a different credit card and it wasn't working either, so I loaded up enough money on the giftaccount to pay my balance (wasn't due yet)... I made a one time payment and chose the box to keep the card for auto payments. It worked... the account was ready to start listing again!!!!

Simon Gift Cards do not work to verify on eBay correct?

They can't be used to verify new account, but you can still pay fees on existing accounts with Simon.

Yup, they work with paypal and you can pay your pays. I just paid mine today!!! I hate paying eBay fees. They seem to add up so quickly!!

Can you verify ebay with a cc and then later change it to a gift card? Has anyone tried this? Wait! If u can pay your ebay fee's with a gift card then why the CC verification in the first place.
