amongst the many claimed free stuff, you can also make payments (one-off payments as well as standing order payments) to others bank account holders in the UK.
however when i tried to add a new payee - i got the message - Mobile verification
Your mobile number has changed within the last 30 days so we need to verify your account to allow you to add a payee. Please contact customer services on 0330 024 0924, our opening hours are 8am-8pm on weekdays and 8am-4pm on Saturday.
now i didnt change my mobile number, i just opened the account about a week ago with that mobile number.
anyhow, calling customer service to sort it out is not automated and have to speak to a customer service agent.
i've never had to 'verify an account' with any prepaid acount before, and this request after claiming 'no credit check', and besides, with other online accounts all that needed is confirming a code sent to the mobile phone.
so what does - 'we need to verify your account' means?? :noidea:
has anyone had this before?
