Does All Access Gift card still work to pay for items on paypal?

no.. i tried on seller account, not working. gives something like: cannot use prepaid card for verification... must be a relatively recent change though..

You can add it to your PayPal account if that's what you mean...

But it won't work to to verify your eBay account.

so what does work now for ebay seller account verification? i tried another source for VCC recently (which i tried before and works fine), and was meet with this error: " This is unsupported cardbrand. Please try another cardbrand"

so I assume that not only has eBay filtered out some gift cards, they also seem to have a list of APPROVED cards.

i always suspected that one day we will have to default to building more paypal accounts..
my question is this..

is this safe to use one paypal account (A) to link to ebay for the seller account setup, and another paypal account (B) for collecting payments on the ebay account? or will this automatically link the 2 paypal accounts? not that it matters.. as if the paypal account (A) is set up only for the seller account verification, then it will not likely be suspended, as it will not really do anything but sit there...

You can try to go that route, but people will still pay to your linked PayPal account.

You can do it, and use a 3rd party shopping cart like cart manager to handle your not linked PayPal account.. that'll work, but it's more work.

i have not had much problems with PP account recently.. so am slightly out of the loop as far as newest development goes in the field. let me ask one quick question (sorry if anwer to this questions has been addresssed elsewhere, but with how quickly this forum has grown, it will take much time to research) so if using a new Paypal account to collect payments from eBay account, will it be likely that the paypal account will be limited soon pending the dreaded SSN request, if set up using stealth? what is the likely volume to trigger this?
