Pre paid card not working for ebay verification
 

Hello,

I hope someone has advice for me. I opened a new ebay account to start selling. I tried to use a vanillavisa prepaid card that does have the three digit authorization code on the back of the card. However, when I try to add this card to my new ebay account I get an error message that prepaid cards cannot be used for verification. I then tried to add a bank account (a different one then I had in the past) because my understanding is they don't verify it until they charge it. After I add the bank account it takes me back to the "add credit card" page to verify my identity and still will not take my prepaid card. I've used the vanillavisa in the past on a different account so that could sell and worked fine. My new ebay account is in a different name so I do not have a credit card with that name on it. I am just trying to get back to ebay selling and was suspended for a stupid reason. Please help!

My BEST advise to you is to take 5 minutes and do a little searching on this forum.
99% of any questions you will have already been answered.

Do not use that eBay account with the PayPal account you were using with the suspended eBay account it will get suspended also. Anyways you can buy a VCC from lakeman for $11 or add that Gift Card to a New PayPal account and link the PayPal Account as the payment for seller fees.

Vanilla Mastercard gift cards don't work, I tried one myself and it gave me the same message. You need to verify a CC or Bank + CC.

They work on PP but they won't work on Ebay.

Use a real bank debit card!! They work Perfect!!
