does simon card still work?
 

i thought i came across a posting that said the simons card does not work to verify paypal, anymore is this true?:help: thanks

I saw those post too but I just now used a simon card on paypal today and it worked.

ok i read that it is ebay that is not accepting simons gift cards. is this true. some one said ebay no longer accepts simons or gift card to verify.

True. eBay put simon and many other prepaid gift cards on blank list.

eBay blocks simon for sure. But you can still use Simon to verify your new Paypal account first, then link your verified paypal to your new ebay account. You don't need to add or verify any cards for your eBay account since eBay trusts paypal. After you get them linked, you are good to go.

Yes, exactly.

Should be the way to do things correctly. Saves hassles later. The best approach is to make the paypal account first, verify paypal: make a 'matching in name address etc' ebay account, link paypal and Bingo! You are ready to go. :cheer:

i tried the simon card yesterday and it did not work to veryfy my ebay. but i did what you said and verified paypal first and then linked it.

so what card can I use to verify ebay then?

I have an old ebay account, that I need to add a card to, to be able to list items again. I was late paying, so they took my old card off file now. I used simon before.

I don't know if linking a new paypal is really a good idea, because I had a paypal account linked to this ebay account before that went negative and I never paid it off...I just stopped accepting paypal payments. Won't any new paypal I add just get linked, and then risk losing money in it due to the negative balance in the old linked account?

After linking the verified paypal account to the ebay account is it possible to open more ebay accounts and link them to the same verified paypal account if I just add a new email address to the paypal account? I want to open multiple ebay accounts on the same verified paypal account but I dont want ebay linking these accounts if one goes down.

You can have multiple account linked to the SAME Paypal account.
BUT
All the accounts WILL be linked.
1 dies they ALL die.
That is the ONLY way it can be done.
