VCC not working on Amazon

Trying to use vcc on Amazon to register it comes up with There was a problem.

Card number is not correct but the card works fine on ebay/ppal

What happening?

I've also started having issues with amazon compatible VCCs on newly registered accounts.

Oddly enough if I swap that card out and back in, it works.

Not sure the cause but I'm guessing Amazon has started randomly doing an additional verification.
