However, this is no longer the case. Ebay can now determine if a person signing up for a seller's account is using a prepaid card or not. I've tried it myself. I've tried to use a Simon's gift account and they figured that it was a prepaid card.
This is my suggestion to those who are trying to open up a new account with a different identity: use a Mio card. A Mio card is also prepaid but in a way that you have your own bank account number and a credit card that has a name on it. Another good thing about is that you can put a different name and address and even though it's not your real identity, then they will override it. |
