Are prepaid cards still efficient?

I've used prepaid debit cards with direct deposit to recieve money from my paypal accounts. I've gotten netspend and accountnow to work, now I'm hoping that this Capital One Prepaid Mastercard will work. But I'm wondering is there a better option that I manage to miss out on.
