ING Bank - How Close On The Name?
 

I have been using ING Bank so far with exact name match. How far can you stretch the name? I know some say it just has to be close, so what Id like to know is how far have you been able to stretch the name and still make it work.

i would add extra letters in there on paypal like if your name was

Bill Jones on paypal i would put Billl Jones so to ing it would look like a typo and u could go with that if u was asked by ing

Yeah that works well ... alsso you can even go so far as using nick names ... Like Nicole = Nikki , or Robert= Rob or something like that .... it works with ING.

It has to match
ING CAN SEE THE EXACT NAME ON THE PAYPAL and I know that for a fact.
I had an ING account closed because of it.
I even added the exact name of the person as an additional user and they closed the account (ING gave same excuse as paypal "we have decided not to do business with you") They reversed all my money to paypal supposedly. It didnt show up instantly im still waiting.
Get it as close as possible maybe like doughboykilla says. Maybe 1 letter off will work as stated above but I wouldnt stretch it too much further. Make it look like a common mistyped error. Example. Joness instead of jones.

I used Diff names and ING shut me down. They asked for me to verify the names of the incoming transfers while being recorded and I said no. From wht I hear on the forum most people say Boa will not turn down any transfer.

Dennis, can you get an account again after being shut down with ING? I did'nt use teh name variation because I didn't know any better back then.

when you were blocked by ING, then u are blocked by them.

U need a new SSN for a new Account and i dont think u have unlimited numbers :)

So no, i cant help you when your account is closed!
