Ally... called me complaining
 

That i have too many bank accounts open.. and it's not normal banking, i explained to her i have 9 different paypal accounts, she wanted to know why i have 9 different, i said to her for tax purposes and to keep track of items. She was "is this a business" and i was like no, i just do a little bit on the side... she basically said if i didnt make a deposit in the next 5 days she would close the accounts with 0 balance or balances under a dollar... i told her i'll take care of it.

9 accounts with one bank is a little much, I would stay closer to 5, to reduce flags.

lol probably true. I'll just put 10 bucks in each and call it a day 'till they call me again , i went a little overboard i agree ;p it's actually 11 haha.. i complained hardcore about a $9 fee for NSF when i didnt even have a transfer and they agreed it was an error.... and fixed it, now a day later i get a call. i probably flagged myself.

Lol, 11 is way to many. Yeah that probably did flag you.

Any more than 5 or 6 will probably get you unwanted attention, but ask her what law are you breaking by having 11 accounts and why it is any of her business? Is there anything in their TOS about not having more than X number? I swear these banks make up their own ****. I needed about $8000 in cash one day and my bank told me they need to know a day in advance, so they could order more cash. I told them "YOUR A F@CKING BANK!" Then they put holds on in town checks and let out of town check cash the next day. I told them direct me to where all their bank "rules" are. They said it is what ever the computers tell them.:rant:

I had that happen to one of my bank accounts awhile back.. it was like yes I want 10k out of my bank account in cash. I wanted the money to use as a down payment on a car. But they could only give me a cashiers check, which worked just as well, but I wanted the cash instead. :)

So I moved to a bigger bank.

You should have said you have 11 children and the accounts are for them! haha

Ally called me and the rude woman tonya closed all my accounts, i asked for supervisor and he said " you're doing business" and this is a personal account... i just said whatever,,,

Well you got your answer now you know what you need to do create a business account.

They just called right all 20 accounts will be closed. In 48hrs

I have 3 with them, been a few months no problems but damn 20 with one bank :doh: be easy next time.

honestly when i think of banks now i always think of that 20 accounts comment and it always makes me laugh

Banks that sit with 0 balance always stick out. Deposit some money in there, and try to get it the account working asap.

I don't think they would be closing those accounts if they each had 10K in there. Several zero balance accounts, just doesn't look good.

Off topic, are new Ally accounts still an option with stealths or not? There has been a lot of conflicting posts lately.

Lol.. yeah, it sounds like their system flagged you for to many accounts with "0" balances. Always, name your accounts and keep at least $5 or above in each. You will remember me when I say, this... close some accounts because they might move this issue to a different department. Evidently, you will receive a call from an underwritter ready to let you know the "bank does not want to do business with you anymore" - simply as that.

Ally and many banks (operating online) consider paypal as an non-DD ACH, different ACH are coded differently, many banks print the sender's name on the stateme sheets, so they could see the sender's name. Also, why don't just get a business account with BOA, it would be your best move.

ally doesn;t care about the balances, neither does nationwide, only 2 banks so far to give me any trouble yet... and nationwide closed me down and let me transfer xx.... out at least

Question about ALLY and Stealth Amaz0 n..
Lets say your Amaz0 n account deposited $500 into your ALLY checking, and then ALLY notices the mismatched names -- Then can you still keep the Amaz0 n account alive and add a New BA, or does this notification of a mismatch trigger automatic suspension of your Amaz0 n ??
