Paypal £1,200 Verification with what Card ?
 

Hey ,

Reached my £1200 limit on my account, I had an entropay card attached to it, but they seem to have removed it and asking for a new card, tried to attached the same card but states this card cannot verify my address..

Is there any alternatives for entropay / cards for verifying paypal in the UK?

In the UK, if its for the EU limit, you need to do phone or letter pin number

The limit is £1700 or have they changed it? grrr:boink:

When i go to the resolution centre there is 4 steps..

confirm bank - done
provide business info - done
confirm your card - not done
validate your account information - not done

when i added the card and tried to charge £1 to confirm it i got this message

We were unable to verify this credit card. Please check if the information you entered is correct. If the problem persists, please try to enter a different credit card.

help!!! ???

in the first year it can hit you at £1200, after that its nearer £1700

as for the card issue, dunno, they dont verify your identity with that in Uk as far as I know...details of account, when was it created?

The Account was created in March this year..

Does anyone have a way round this? Barcleys Gift Card worked a treat in everyway.. They were visa electrons and you could assign them to anyones address and get them sent to your own.. Anyone know of a service like this?

Or is my account for the Bin ?? :-(

ok, unable to verify your card (post 5) is different from unable to verify your address (post 1) with this card.....

which is it? youve written different things on posts....

I suspect its the former ie. its just a card issue eg entropay isnt loaded with enough money or something..try again or add another card, 3v can be used, or even a real card, if really pushed.

as I said, as far as I know, paypal doesnt verify your address via card, for EU limit. You are required to get a phone call or letter with pin.

Oompa... I Feel like such a twit!! I just checked the entropay account and there was only 55p loaded on the card.. You could say I'm curled up in a ball flooded with embarressment!!
