Anyone use the reloadable RushCard?

That's a new one, I never heard of it.

it looks like a good card. many ways to reload. they also give you a routing number to transfer from Paypal to your card (set up as a bank account) then you can withdraw the cash from the ATM for a $2 fee.

Do they verify ssn ?

im not sure how they verify i looked in the user agreement and didn't see it. They ask for SS# and DOB. And there is a $20 activation fee.

If they ask for SSN, those type of giftcards are pretty much useless on ebay. They would just make you use your real name on the card.

but it would still work for paypal wouldn't it? Couldn't you use a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name for the bank account but use the real numbers on the card? They don't have to match do they?

Im sure it would work on Paypal..it tells you in the "to how add money" section how to add your card as a bank account to paypal.

oops, yeah that's right. They would still come in handy for using as a bank account. :D

XL First Debit reloadable Visa

XL Card

I emailed them today and they say you can use it to remove your paypal funds.

For the XL Card, I checked their website and didn't see anything related to paypal? How can you remove fund from paypal to this card?

You would set the card up as your bank account and then transfer your funds from Paypal to your "bank".

I didn't actually order the card, I ended up ordering a different one but when I emailed the customer support at XL, I asked if this card could be used to withdraw money from paypal and the support lady said yes. You may want to double check before ordering it..I'd feel bad if it didn't work.

fyi...The card I ended up ordering is called a readydebit card. I'll let you know if it works with paypal!

are the fees better with you ready debit

I don't think so..they are about the same...I just ordered the readydebit because you don't have to pay for it until it arrives and you activate it.

I also signed up for readydebit they have low fees. $1.50 ATM, Free PIN and SIGNATURE, Free Overdraft, Free Balance Check, and the biggest plus is you can reload the card with PP. I'll report back how and if it works.

and they want a ss# you may as well use a free checking account

most banks reject me when they run the check system thing, I have an outstanding balance from like 10 years ago from a bank that I can't contact to get taken care of...so this works best for me

you think $5 is alot? I profit $3.50 per item just on shipping so im not worried about $5...

they do have the best fees that ive found so far...

For sure...I would just goto the bank and get a free checking account...im actually cleaning up some old stuff thats hurting my credit and thats one of them so hopefully soon I can just do the easy way and go get a bank acct.

where is their sign-up screen? I've looked all over that site.

It'd probably be best to contact them to find out how to obtain a card.

This card will only be in your real name, so you will not be able to use it with "stealth" accounts.

Well the name on the card has absolutely nothing to do with what name you use on ebay or paypal. They don't check names, its all about numbers... ie act#, avs#, zip code. I've used many different cards with all types of names that were in no way close to the account holder names with no problems. Only time you got an issue is if your trying to pull some fraud and we wouldn't be doing that right?

I know I am a newbie and I am going to ask the daftest thing that may have already been discussed in one of these 500 threads, by I have read these posts for hours now and cannot exactly find if someone can confirm that I can join up a brand new paypal account and link it to an debit card/bank account in someone elses name (brand new bank accounts ofcourse). Gees I wish they had threads for Aussies. Us Aussie ebayers are in the same situation but the cards options are not available here. Fortunately I set myself up in the USA 3 years ago and have s/s etc so this might come in handy. Take me a week to get my funds, but hey its better than nothing! SO.... do alarm bells go off if you try and link the paypal to a debit card not in the account holders name?

How long does it take to get funds from paypal to the card?Will be using for stealth account.

i just activated my card and set it up as a bank account for a new stealth account. on the "how to add money with paypal" screen, at the bottom it says "transfers MUST match cardholders name" or whatever. anyone know if this is true or false?

why dont you just make a paypal with some alterations of your name (not too far off), you should be fine.

As for your question, gurugrafx answered it above saying s/he had no problems..

i already had the account made under a stealth name before i added the card/bank account. also the post that my question was answered in is over a year old, i'm just wondering if anyone has any recent experience to see if there are any issues with the names not matching.

would recommend account now to anyone. check them out, they still work with paypal just fine.

same here those (visa and mc) were the first two cards i used to get back on ebay/paypal with.
