Anyone know of any accepted Canadian Prepaid Cards
 

Trying to find one that works and is instantly available. Tried to start a new ebay account today and they asked me to verify my idenity just for a buyers account when I tried the phone confirmation I never received a call.......now I need to verify with a cc or start over...blah flippin ebay neways!

I know of two but I forgot their names.

Money mart has one, a mastercard, I've used it no problem on both ebay and paypal

instaloans ( here in alberta anyway), MC again

West edmonton mall has a loadable Visa as well

Here in Quebec you can buy visa gift card at almost any grocery store. I've been using Eternity banking almost all the time but I also have tried those gift card and they work pretty well! You can register them with any adresse and name:cool:

yeah i use the one topazcorp said, you can buy them at any "mac's" convenience

earlt do you have to give them your driver license and other info when getting that mastercard?

For the Money Mart one, the "titanium plus" you have to give them two proof of identity + a valid adresse because they issue you a temporary card at the moment of purchase and send you the personalised one to your adresse. I haven't found yet how to change the adresse.

By the way there is also the Much Music reloadable MC (MuchMusic | MuchMusic Card) and the horizon plus MC (Horizon Plus - Contact). You can change at will the adresse associated with these cards!

because the one from citizensbank, you pay with cash for it at mac's, and thats it, thats the only trace you have to it. then login to online access and change all the details for it, any name, any address, any phone

If ebay is using AVS, they compare the street number and zip code. No name, phone number, etc.

Really? So basically I can put any name when I register as long as the street and zip match?

I was not aware of this but Vanilla Mastercards are available at your local Shell station

I just purchased a Prepaid Vanilla Mastercard and used it with my ebay acct without even registering it, eBay took it no problem!

I'm not sure, you will have to pop into your local Shell station to find out. There was a little rotating gift card display that had a lot of other retailers on it (Nationwide) as well.

If need be, I can be a supplier to those interested I suppose.

Only a valid credit/debit/gift card. They can be bough at your local convenience store and you can activate them online with any name/addresse. You can also activate your account with your phone but I don't recommed it, all account I've activated that way have been taken down.
