Ive been searching the site and cant find any info on which bank accounts people are using and work well with stealth names. I thought at one point there was a thread but I cant find it. Im looking to switch banks just because I dont want to keep opening account after account with them and looks supicious so i am trying to find another bank that works. Which banks are you all using these days that havent had any problems.

I'd stay away from ING . I think there's one more bank that's not good, but I'm not sure which one.

Yeah ING sucks for stealth accounts. I know HSBC and BOA are great. I just got asked by the lady at HSBC why i was closing so many accounts haha. So im going to lay off those 2 for a bit and I want to know some other alternatives.

The first and last name have to match now with netspend. Count them out for stealth.

Except WaMu doesn't exist. I would go with HSBC, you can open them online (how ever many you want). But I have now stated using Ally too, I have 6 accounts with them. Great for PP

Yes, HSBC works with stealth information. They are a pretty cool bank, I been using them with PP for years, you can open accounts online and they are ready within a few hours.

What's the deposit amount needed to open with HSBC? I know it's $25 with BOA.

-The minimum to open an account is $1
-It was years ago when I opened my first account. I assume I had to fill out a signature card and mail it back, I don't remember.
With Ally bank, I had to fill out a signature card for sure (this was more recent, thats why I remember)
I wouldn't go with BOA, yes it is convenient to have so many branches but their fees are CRAZY HIGH. Also if you are making real money on eBay, BOA offers like 0.10% interest whereas Ally and HSBC are over 1% at least.
I miss the days of 7% CDs and 5% savings circa early 2000s

ALLY bank is not good for stealth accounts, I just open 1 Ally bank checking account, and because I receive a few payments and made one payment with a PayPal account ( for ebay selling and paying ebay fees) that was different from the name on the Ally bank. They block me from my account (meaning I can't access it online or use my debit card).

I use different Ally for SEVERAL stealth accounts, I don't know why apple6 had problems with them.
Also slappped, I don't think Emigrant Direct (Dollar Savings Direct) works anymore. I had an account with DSD and they returned my PP deposits. I would assume actual Emigrant would do this too since they are the same company.
GB this thread should be closed if there is already a thread about this.:D

There is this HUGE thread of all the banks accounts that can be used with Paypal. I can't seem to find it anywhere though. Where did it go? Was it deleted or something?
As for the topic on hand I use Wells Fargo, Bank of America and I hear really good things from Suntrust.

If you Inputted your Banks information Correctly into Paypal and Verified the account Correctly all you need to do is Click on the "Withdraw" Button found towards the top of the "My Account" Page and from the Sub Menu select the "Bank Account" Option,,,then Follow the rest of the Prompts,,,,,
