Can I put stealth name on the Walmart prepaid card?
 

If I buy a Walmart prepaid, do I have to put real information or no?

I am not based in U.S. but from ALL the posts here, you need to buy a Walmart prepaid with your SSN. Once done, you can provide BS info to pa ypal and eb ay and whatever.

Rsot is right, You must use your real info and SSN with the Walmart card.

How did you solve the address issue when you register a Walmart prepaid Visa card ?
I am trying to use walmart prepaid Visa card as a credit debit card to unlock the paypal withdraw limit.
I mean you get a temporary card from walmart, need to register it to get the real card, but the real card will be sent to you, and the shipping address needs to match the address you put in eBay/Paypal, correct ? The address I put in eBay/Paypal are bogus address, so what can I do now ?

The walmart money card is a real bank account!!!! so unless you commit bank fraud, you won't be able to do this.

you must use your real infos with the walmart card, it's a Ge money bank account!

you have to use your real information but it gives you the option to get a second card for 3 dollars extra,any name you choose,no ss needed for the second card.Ive done this itleast 20 times and never had a problem

well that's great... but it has the same address, and is still tied to your personal information. It's EXACTLY like getting a second debit card for your bank account.

yes,only you can put different information onto your paypal and ebay under the stealth name.Your saying that ebay or paypal will know your real info even though your using a stealth name?

It doesnt ask for any identifying information to get a second card,just name.So why would the bank think or assume anything?

you seem to be implying to stay away from these cards,am i correct? I dont see where the bank fraud comes into play unless you use it for illegal activity like writing fraudulent e-checks and that type of thing.Ive only used it for ebay verification,can you actually withdraw to it from paypal? I actually made a seperate thread asking this earlier

The card itself is a bank account... you just get a debit card. It's supplied by GE bank, I think.

The second card you make will still be tied to the same bank account, same address and everything else I assume... just a different name.

Today I applied for a prepaid card. On the card it will be my name, my address and everything what belongs to me was taken from the bank. I have to register a new ebay and paypal address of course. Do I have to write what is written on the card as holder or I can choose and other name and address. Because prepaid card is the same credit card only issue is when there is no limit from the bank nobody can charge anything from you because there is no money inside it. Only when we will withdraw the money to the card from Paypal. I know that somebody can give as gift or borrow the card to somebody to use. I think they have to accept the names and address what you write. The only thing is when they check the card it is important that you turn them with the right answer.
Any advice please because in 3 weeks I will have to add this card on my new paypal account. The account will be on my girlfriend but I will use my new card.
Question is will it be better to sign the card on her name or mine?
