I must be missing something????
 

OK.....my friend is letting me use an old account with 2500FB......the only problem is he removed the CC/Debit card attached for Ebay fees......I guess......cause when I click "Sell" I get "Use this form to place your credit card on file for automatic monthly payment of your eBay seller fees." Well, I was told to get a VCC's from one of the sellers on the forum.....so I did....but when I try to use it I get "Your credit card has been declined. Please make sure you provided us with a valid credit card and billing address for authorization."

So am I missing something here.....it still has a balance of $1 on the card so i know it cannot be that.....Don't want to mention the VCC's sellers name because I am trying to give him a chance to provide the excellent customer service that he proclaims.

Can't I just go to any Walgreens and buy a prepaid $25 Visa card and register it in my friends name and use that to get past this? I really need to get back to selling.....Thanks.....sorry if this is a dumb question but I am new to this.

sometimes a vcc will not work with ebay when it asks for a credit card

sometimes the gift card at wal mart will not work either

message your seller and find out what's what before you freak out

Are there any unpaid fees on the account?

oh and I forgot... are you not able to add paypal to pay for ebay fees with this account for some reason?

@ First Edition - It is not giving me the option to use Paypal.....Paypal is already linked.....when I click "Sell" it ask for a Credit Card or Debit Card to charge ebay fees to.

Message the seller twice.....the reply was that it always works for USA accounts that are not Ebay Stores......this is a USA account and is not a store.

You and I have done business and you know I am patient.....but I do expect to get what I paid for.......just want to get back to selling.

Sometimes ebay asks for a credit card, that is specifically a verification measure. It may be charging the card more, or it may be requiring a debit card. Yes, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. And you're very, very patient indeed.

So am I screwed unless he will use his debit card so I can get past this or can I get a prepaid gift card and register it in his name and use it.......I am really not the dumba$$ that these post make me look like.

Not screwed...you don't have to have a VCC/CC with his name on it LITERALLY.

Just buy an anonymous one from someone and put in his name.
