OK Im trying to do right and not pay with my paypal..I bought a walmart card to pay my ebay fees which are due in the next week. BUT when IM setting it up..its asking me for my social, address, name etc.

AM I using my name/info...or the name set up with my stealth account?

Does ebay ask for this info with you pay and can I be linked from making payment?

I just hung up when Walmart setup started getting personal...I wasn't sure what info to put in?

Ok now I have no experience with Walmart Bank card but keep in mind that this is a BANK. I have never lied or tried stealth with a bank - that stuff you have to keep real. From then on, you go stealth with your info for pp / eb. Maybe other folx can tell you differently but lying to a bank can get trouble.

You won't be linked by your info at Walmart - it's your info that you PROVIDE to eb =)

The walmart card is not what you want to pay fees. Yes it can be used for that, but like you said they want name, address, ssn, and it costs $3 a month to keep the card open.

Just use a normal prepaid card to pay your fees.

ALERT! I put my REAL info i.e. Name Address to WALMART prepaid card; because they are a bank I was too scared to lie to them...

NOW when you go to pay your ebay fees it asks for the credit card info just like your paying with a normal credit card. SO i couldn't use the WALMART card because its in my suspended REAL name. which would have automatically got me l linked. SO now I have a walmart card I need to use or give away..lol.

sorry for my ignorance...but what is a NORMAL PREPAID..I went to Walmart and this is all they had. I guess Ill try target...

Is there not anyone who can say which card they use and where they got?

Ebay CANNOT see the name on your credit card... So you do not need to put your real info into ebay..

so if I put in my real info with the walmart cc card to set it up on walmarts site, I can put in ⊗⊗⊗⊗ stealth info on ebays site when they are asking me for cardholder name and it should work? Im getting an error: incorrect info, but since I just activated the card maybe it needs to settle?

Correct, the name does not need to match. The zip code does need to match and some cards the street number also has to match.

wow so wtf I just bought 4 of these because people on this forum had suggested getting these so I can setup an eBay store and lift my withdrawal limits on paypal. But these walmart cards wont even work because I have to reside at the stealth address? Well that sucks :(

and if I dont reside at my stealth address but put in the address that is on my walmart card (banned address on eBay) wont eBay pick that up and link that address?

You misread somewhere. The walmart money card is not for removing withdraw limits, a vcc will do that. The moneycard is for verifing your account and to withdraw to. A bank account is a lot better to use than the moneycard.


Do NOT put a suspended address into your new account, of course that would link you..

with can withdraw using walmart money card direct deposit up to 1k a month for each card. a bank account is better unless u cannot get a bank account for some reason.

or a few walmart cards to use the direct deposit infos to withdraw to the bank account attached the the card. 1K each or less a month
