Does Greendot reloadable debit cards work with missmatching names?
 

I have not transferred any money yet into Greendot re-loadable cards, but I am wondering if anyone knows if they are safe with stealth names. My real info with real SSN number is on the Greendot cards. Will the transfer go through or the names have to match? thanks

@rsot, are you speaking from personal experience or just something you read. Who are the issuing banks? My experiments with those cards are showing different results from what you claimed.

I have used the Greendot re-loadable cards in the pass but with my real info on all, ebay, paypal, and Greendot. So it worked with everything under the same name, I have yet to try it with stealth or mismatch names.

greendot cards are crappy and u will more then likely have problems with missmatched names! i used them on paypal when they first launched and the d**kheads locked my card and when i called them they said i could NOT use it for paypal then said if it happened again they would remove me as there customer. then last month the bstards locked my card again cause i loaded to many money packs on my card and this time they said they couldnt have me as a customer no more. So i said screw greendot and went and found 3 other card Co's who has the opition to load with money pack.

So trust greendot as much as u trust paypal with your money. theres many horror storys online about greendot.

@yotano211 there is a trick that you can load your card with mismatch names,PM me i'm willing to share it with you, i read it somewhere on the forum.

Look, if Greendot is hostile to PP payments, why are you rushing to throw money at it? It doesn't matter if you can get away with it a few times, eventually they'll screw you. You don't think they notice the amount of pp deposits you're making when the cards are meant for the unbankables? There are so many other products and non-chex banks out there, just do some homework and stop chasing a dead end.

i tryed greendot the made depoist with no problem ,the went to with withdraw money they took to account of and said please add a new bank account ive try this three times with mix match names no good . good luck
