"Prepaid Cards Can't Be used for identity confirmation"
 

Got some vanillavisa and visa2go cards today. Registered them and made sure to wait @ least 2 hours before using them. BOTH types work to verify paypal but both types failed with ebay.

Looks like our "friends" in San Jose are getting wise. Only other option @ Wallgreens is the Amex Gift Cards? Any ideas guys?

That's been that way for 8 or 9 months... Ebay stopped accepting most prepaid cards.

Vccs work great for that, pm me if you need one.

Kinda wish the $37.00 "Stealth Guide" mentioned that before I bought $200.00 worth of pre-paid cards :mad2:


Oh well they will work to pay fees I guess. Current list of verified working VCC websites anyone?

It's been a while since I read the Stealth book, but thinking back, I do not remember it stating prepaid cards worked to turn your ebay account into a seller account..

Maybe it did and I'm wrong?

You do not even appear to be a currently subscribed user. Who's to say the info is not available for subscribers.

I can get debit cards with online banking I'm going to see If I get approve by aspkin to sell them here

I used the Vanilla's for years, and untill recent they are not working for me anymore. Its easier to just ask Lakeman for a VCC

If you want to get a prepaid card, or a gift card that will work, it is best to get one from a local bank or credit union. Many of these will work. Of course, get ONE and test it first.

The most popular ones, like VanillaVisa are easy targets for eBay/Amazon.

And VCC's are always a good alternative as well.

i make acc on half.com, when i log in to selling now, ebay requires one credit card to verify, i bought one vcc from one of seller on this forum, but after verifying. Next week, i log in to half.com, it requires credit card again? what happens?

If I work at a company that sells items and when I sell those Items I make extra money from the manufacture. to collect money I have to submit info to manufacture and then in about 2 weeks they load my visa card iwth money.
Since it's a reloadable card do you think it will work to verify eb ay/pay

One thing about pre-credit cards they can be a blessing and they can be a curse.
