Is the SSN & name on a GreenDot Card seen by ebay/paypal

I know the address isnt seen by ebay at all or I would have been had over a year ago. I use a greendot now but with my adult sons name and details on it.

I want to do another one but dont have any idea of what ebay and paypal can see on it. It should work like a bank account and not be seen by ebay/paypal. I'm pretty sure there is a bank routing number on it since it can be used for direct deposits and tax refund checks, etc. I want to just put my ssn on it with maybe my middle name and last. would rather do a stealth name though.

also how do you do the address if its a stealth address? they have to send you a permanent card right??

eb ay and pa yp al basically only see the info that YOU provide to them. They cannot see the SSN of your gree ndot care unless they have subpoena or you decide to give it to them in a friendly gesture of friendship =P

yea as far as i know they do NOT share information like that at all....

So I could put my real name and ssn on the card for registration and just a stealth name to p pl or e by?

Or can I put my reall ssn and a stealth name on the card?

Or would I need to do something like my middle name initial and last name on card with real ssn then just use the middle initial and last name as a stealth name with p pl or e by?

Ummm my guess is they check a 'database' with the name and ssn you provide. They probably have to match i'd assume. I would not use a card with my real on it to register a stealth paypal. There are other options, like variations try to keep it close. Just make sure you follow everything else in the stealth guide.

You wouldnt have much of a choice since all greendot CC's require a ssn to verify to them that you are real. My question is does paypal or ebay really know what is on it besides a name??

Your bank has to be your real ssn and its hidden so I dont see why this would not be hidden as well.

What are you guys doing that use these cards?? Thanks
