About the Amex gift card for Paypal
 

Can't seem to get pa yp al to accept this card? Anyone have a trick or recommendation?

its hit or miss with these. i know here in the us these only work on us address paypals. Sometimes they will say they cant be verfied even though they work on another Pp

Hmm am wondering - these particular Amex gift cards I have are in Canadian dollars but cardholder agreement says can be used for US dollar purchases.

I have tried it out on US pp and fail - I tried it out on Canadian pp and fail.

I have a AMEX prepaid card. It's re-loadable, but you can't use direct deposit to load it. So if the address doesn't verify, the card won't accept a deposit from PP for verification.

Thanks for the info Road-Kill - sadly I don't have those re-loadables ones. And (maybe dbk or someone else sees how to do the following) I find no place on americanexpress.com/giftcard to register an address.

I guess pp has just phased this card out then?

Ive to have looked everywhere on the web i cant find no where to Reg the amex cards. Somes these work for me no problems other times they wont work on one paypal but they will on another and lastly some wont work at all and i wasted 5 bucks buying it. I dont know what the difference is or anything which make them work and not work. they always work on ebay though
