western union reloadable card(ghost deposits)
 

anyone ever use western union's reloadable mastercard on a paypal account in someone elses name. do they reject ach/direct deposits in someone other then the card holders name is what I want to know.

anyone have the answer?

you guys are luck in the states, you can withdraw to CC. i have the WU card that i added to my real buying account.

I got one of the WU cards they sent it to me out of the blue never asked for it but it can be loaded by ACH as well as u can have WU payments posted to it.

what about the deposits in mismatched names issue?

Time for me to take a trip to WU and see what servies offered in Canada...

WU is amazing.

I would also like to know this? and how long does the card takes to come?

so this scares me since I know most MetaBank cards dont work with mismatched names.

i have used cards ghost by metabank and gotten stealth deposits on at least 1 but not others.

Western union prepaid cards and metro pcs prepaid cards don't accept incoming paypal deposits. I tried this a few months ago and they never came through. I called customer service and they said it should world, but the deposits never came through. Till now I have not used them anymore. Maybe they work now for 2012, but I could not confirm that information.

any idea as to wether they work on amazon and/or half.com

Along the same lines, has anyone been using the WU MoneyWise card to regularly receive transfers? I usually just have customers SWIFT funds to me, but in some cases, I prefer that they don't know my banking info. and have been using Money Gram and Western Union for them to send me funds. It'd be great if I could just have them send to a MoneyWise card (would have to fly back stateside to pick one up I think).

Didn't work for me. This was over a year ago.

I just got my WU card in the mail. There's direct deposit info right on the papers they sent me. I just entered them into PP but it's gonna take 2 days to verify the info due to the 2 small deposits. Let's see how it goes.

The quick answer is no. Basically they say I CAN use the WU account, but I'd have to fax them drivers license, bank statement showing the 2 small deposits and some other crap.
I ended up going to my local Cha$e bank and added 2 new checkings.
By the way, Netspend doesn't work either. Same results.

I got the initial ghost deposits, then nothing else. They sent the money back after that.

so the ghost deposits went through. so you can now confirm the small paypal deposits to remove the $500 withdrawal limit?
