So what prepaid debit card should I get? Will I need to provide ID to open this account? Im looking to buy cards from 7/11.

In Canada? You can go for Canada Post Visa prepaid - or any of the bank-issued ones.

VanCity is a bank? Then it should - go in and make sure you can register the card online with address details.

Yes its a bank and yes you can register the card online but are you sure you can put in this card via ach transfer?
