Just found a great debit card for setting up PayPal
 

Just found a great debit card that works great with PayPal for both bank accounts, and for credit cards. There are almost no fees at all. No monthly fee like some of the other debit cards like net-spend. No fees for using the card unless you use it at an ATM and even then the fee is like $1.50. You can even get money for referrals! No joke! I created about 6 bogus cards using myself as a referral and racked up like $40! If anyone is interested please let me send you a referral email. It gives us both points towards cash back and gift certificates if you use me as a referral. Just email me your name (real, ⊗⊗⊗⊗, or whatever)and the email address that you would like the referral sent to and I will get one out to you.

How this works
 

The referal code is different for each person you refer. I'm not trying to be one of those guys who will only tell you about this card if you use him as a referal. The card is called the UPside card and the address is UPside Portal needs the client script enabled in your browser I do hope that you will send me your email so that I can refer you. We both get points if I refer you. I don't think you get any points for just signing up. The bottem line is, if you let me refer you we both get points and its a win win deal. Just send me a PM with the email address you would like me to send the referal to and I will send you one as soon as I check my mail. The points thing is really cool. For every referal you get 500 points and the person you refered gets 500 points. If you get 1000 points, basiclly 2 referals, you can redeem your points for $10 cash on your card or a $10 Amazon Gift Certificate. 2000 Points, or 4 referals, and you get $20 cash on your card or a $20 Amazon Gift Certificate. I have racked up $60.00 this morning alone. The easiest money I've made by far. So if your interested I do hope you find it in heart to help me out and get a 500 point start for yourself at the same time.

Biopunk this may be what I need, just to clarify can I use this to verify a bank account? You stated that it is similar to Netspend, does this mean that with the Upside account you will have an account number so you can have the two deposits paid into it by Paypal?

Yes I used two of these cards to activate paypal with a bank account and once I had $1.00 on the card I than used it to verify a credit card.

I activated 2 paypal accounts using one card for one account and the 2nd card for the other.

Can you use the account immediately once you have registered or do you need to wait for the card, i.e. do they give you the account and routing number as soon as you have registered?

Aslo as i don't want to give my Social Security Number should I sign up as a 'parent'? Is that how you signed up - was the info real...

do they need your ssn to get a card?

You need to use your ssn, they use it just to verify your birthday. You can get multiple accounts.

I just wanted to say a quick, "Thank You!" to everyone that let me refer them. I had started to worry about how I was going to come up with the money for gas and diapers being as I am disabled and don't get my check until the 1st of the month. so these are debit cards and they mail to any address u want? and can u use them instantly till u get the card in the mail?

it has been that way for me so far. I have three cards that are all being used as a bank accounts on different paypal accounts as well as being used as credit card verifications. I have cash on all of them from the referrals and just got gas and a pizza with one earlier tonight.

do they have any virtual cards service as i'm not in the us?

I have seen no virtual cards on their site.

how many can u have under the same name and address?

I don't know how many they allow you, but I have about 12 using slight variations in my name. Like using my middle name, or my last name first. Using something like APT H5 one time and Apt. H-4 the next.

well hell i got to send them a fax of my id and utility bill >:( i used a my po box as my addy i guess i should had used my home address

i will make another one and use my home address this time and see if it will work

I got two of those emails, but they still gave me credit for the referral and by that point thats all I was shooting for. I still have about 10 or 12 that are solid. I think one of the accounts I was ask to send ID and a bill for I had used a PO Box too. I dunno.... Good Luck!

If they ask for Id does that not mean that the accounts are inactive until the documents have been sent? i.e. can funds be loaded on the account even if the documents are not provided?

Do they ask for ID only if you use PO boxes? I have a street address with USA2ME would this be fine?

I'm not sure on that one. I just kinda forgot about those two accounts and went on to the next.

I have just registered and I received the following email:

"The issuance of your Upside card has been put on hold due to some
conflicting enrollment information. Please contact 1-866-305-6236 for
further validation or fax in a copy of your driver`s license and a copy of a
utility bill to 954-377-4459."

I have already provided Paypal with the bank routing code and account number etc, would the funds still despoit and appear on the Upsidecard account? I understand that funds can not be withdrawn and they wont send the card out until this is resolved, however can the two funds still be sent to that account?

Do you mean that you managed to get the card in the end, or that your receiving these emails stating further info?

If so have you tried depositing the two funds?

No I recieved the need more info email again. I don't know if the two deposits showed up or not, I didn't use the accounts that I received the need info emails to activate.

So, how can this be a great card to use if you do not know if it even works? If you tell the forum a card is great, at least make sure that it will with paypal. That's the info needed.:rolleyes:

I know that it works. I have two paypal accounts using two of my upside cards. I don't know if you can use a card after getting the, "need info" email, but the card does work if you don't get the need info email for sure.

how long did it take to get the mirco payment cause i orderd a card and its been like 5 days and still have no got a deposit :mad: i emailed then they said they mailed my card off on the 29th and it takes 3-5 days for depoists to show up on the card and theres no limt to how much u load so if its not on there tommarow then i know there must be something wrong with the card cause on google it never took more then 1 day to recive a micro depoist

The deposits showed up in my account at around 4 or 5 days I think for one account, and 6 or 7 days for the other account. The second one had a weekend to account for also.

Maybe i missed the answer but after registration will they instantly give you the account # and card # or you have to wait for the card to come in the mail 1st?

u can log into your account but u dont get the card # right then u log in by a user name and password

There is a referral fee involved. You get a person to use the card you get paid.

I don't get paid for a referral when someone uses the card, but I do get 500 points if you sign up useing a referral I sent. When I get 1000 points I can redeem them for $10 added to my card, or a $10 gift certificate from Amazon.com. When I get 2000 points I can redeem them for $20 added to my card, or a $20 gift certificate from Amazon.com.

Oh, and to answer the question,"how is this different from other cards", is that there is no activation fee, load fee, and the fees that the card does have are cheaper than most of the other cards I have looked at.

Sure, it's a referral whereby you can get a reward. I am saying that you have offered
a card to the forum. I can not find any post from you that says 'I used the twisted sideways card', got my two deposits from paypal and I have now verified that paypal account. I have read a lot of 'don't knows etc'.
Ego, I am still not sure that this card is of use for paypal. It differs from the cards mentioned by EBHL that are known to work.
And that is the bottom line,the forum needs a VCC that works successfully for paypal verification not gives referral points.

I have used this card to verify two paypal accounts. A different card for each. I used my real SSN on the one card and my wifes on the other. These were my first two cards and I recieved the cards, used them for verifing paypal, put money on them from paypal, then used them to verify a credit card with paypal, and now use them for everything from gas to pizza.

Oh yeah, this is not a virtual credit card, it is an actual debit card that you receive in the mail and can use anywhere.

i still got no mirco depoist from google on the card and its been probly 8 or 9 days now! I will give it till monday then contact google to remove the card as a bank and i will just attch my ing to that google account.

I know google will do the mirco depiost in one day they are quick about it like if u add a bank on a Monday to google u can have the mirco payment on Tuesday to verfiy it so i know its something to do with this card on take such a slow time to post the depiost to it.

If this card has anything to do with metabank that could be the reason for no deposits. metabank was reported no go with paypal.
