I've read through the forum and am confused...

I'd like to open a reloadable pre-paid card (yes I know they are more expensive than gift cards). In order to not have to use my real name on my new ebay/paypal accounts I'd like to open the card with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name.

Which card can I open with a made up name... preferably with a false ss#, but if I need to use my ss# can I do that for the card and use false name?

Does paypal verify the name on the bank account when you add one?

PayPal doesn't verify the name on the bank account.
I added my bank account to my boyfriend's PayPal account without any problem. Now his account is verified.

That solve most of my problem... I also have one non-ebay related company that I want to order something from that does do a avs and name check on the card... they do not accept gift cards. I can't use my real info with them because in the past I had ordered something from them, ups left it on my porch and marked it delivered, but it was gone by the time I got home. They didn't pay for the UPS insurance, and would not refund since ups said it was delivered. I disputed with my cc company and got the charge reversed, but now they want me to pay. I still want to get something else from them hence, new addresss, new name and new card. I tried ordering with same name and new address, and they cancelled the order.

Can you send it to a friend, or a PO Box?
