I just bought simon cards from the simon mall here, first time, usually was buying the gift accounts online but wanted them as a card instead. When i go to simon.com, do i go to ACTIVATE CARD or REGISTER CARD. Which one would let me put an address to the card for use. Thanks, first time doing this and the mall rep couldn't even answer this herself. She was asking why would you want to put an address to a gift card, but i walked away instead and hoping i could find how to do it.

hi, had the same problem. You will have to use the address where you purchased the card from. Go online to the card account info and it has the address of where you bought the card from. You will have to change your ebay and paypal address as well to the mall address.

I dont use a mall address--I register the debit card /prepaid card in the name/addy of the acct I am using--are we talking of the same situation??

I think the OP is talking about buying the card in person. Instead of online. If you buy the card in person, you have to use the place where you bought the cards address.

You input that card number you just bought-- you use
ANY ADDRESS,ANY EMAIL,ANY NAME you want...
>>nOW--Card is Registered WHEREVER you choose..

So when you register the card with a name and address it passes the AVS right ?

mariedraper - you do not have to use the address where you purchased the card from.

I went to the local mall and purchased my simon card in person, went home later that night and registered it with a complete ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name/address, etc and it worked like a charm.

I noticed on my account that I do not have a cc on file with them BUT I used a cc to verify my idenity when I first opened my account. SOO, could I use the same cc to start another account? will it link me to the other account?
