gift card is confirming ID
 

for all my accounts, i purchase a visa gift from my bank (C H A S E). today, i logged on to check a balance and it gave me 2 options....1) verify my ID and 2) a one time pass, where next time I HAVE to verify ID.

for kicks, i checked the verify ID and It was 10 quetions and I had answer 4. It was stuff like, what car do you own. What computer do you own.

almost like they were pulling from a public data base or maybe even a credit bureau.


Any ran into this?
