UK bank accounts
 

Hi guys! I just wanted to know something; many of you have alot of paypal accounts and therefore have many ebay accounts, so does that mean you have many bank accounts (uk)? For e.g. I made bank account1 with real name and details, which I then used to open paypal account1 (bogus name etc) and therefore opened ebay account1 (same details as paypal account1). But if my ebay account1 got suspended then obviously I can't use the same paypal account1 to open another ebay account. Does that mean i close that paypal account1 down and open another paypal account2( different bogus details) with same back account1? Does paypal let me do that? Or do they record those bank details and not let me do that?

If not, does that mean everyone has 100s of bank accounts? how do banks let you do that?

You can open savings accounts easily and it doesnt effect your credit buddy :)

No you can not reuse the same bank account for multiple Paypal accounts. You'll need to open a new bank account for every Paypal you want to create.

so obviously you cannot use the same paypal account (even if you've changed the primary email address on it) that has been used on a suspended ebay account, on another ebay account rite?

So if your opening so many bank accounts don't the banks find it very dodgy and investigate? Then why does everyone go through all that effort just to have an ebay account and flog some ⊗⊗⊗⊗? Why not think of alternatives such as creating your own website and advertising?

Is ebay everyones main source of income, if it is, then its worth the effort, other than that, I have to think about all this..

also is there not an alternative to opening bank accounts i.e. virtual bank accounts that can be used on paypal, just like the virtual CC such as entropay?

Once paypal have bank account details linked to a suspended ebay
account that paypal account is OUT for use with ebay. Recall this
ebay/paypal LINK. Link anything suspended and you lose accounts

No such thing as a virtual bank account. You can open an online account in the UK. You must make sure that it will accept Direct Debit to use with paypal.
You must have a verified paypal account to sell on ebay. There are banks suitable for this.

if you open a new bank account on line, can you open it in a different name and address?

Open it in your normal name. In paypal and ebay use the false name but correct bank account no. and sort code.

When they ask to verify they send a mandate to the bank for direct debit. If i put a false name, wont they let paypal know that the name on the bank account is incorrect?
