Vanilla Visa vs. Simon

I am going to be creating multiple accounts,

I was wondering what was my cheapest and best bet. With vanilla visa it is a $4.95 activation, Simon is $3.95.

If I put $20 on the card, can I use all of it or do I have to leave some money on the card?

I am going to be creating a lot of these accounts, so even the $1 diffrence in activation is something, and depending on how much I have to leave on each card...

Thanks!

Dmshark25 04-17-2013 11:26 AM

I always use vanilla visa on multiple accounts and after I verify them with the $1.95 charge I use the remaining balance. As long as you don't charge them they should be ok. Just make sure you leave enough funds in Paypal for charge backs etc.... So Paypal won't use your card

I have a lot more experience with Vanilla Visa - both in Canada and in the USA - works well so I dont bother changing.

Vanilla Visa from walmart.com is $2.xx fee. It will save you $2/each

Hi
Im new to this..Is Vanilla Visa Card still a good option? Also can you withdraw money from it once ebay/amozon deposits?
Thanks in advance..

rsot 04-30-2013 01:32 PM

While Vanilla Visa Card is an option to use as credit card (you match the zipcode to the account), you cant withdraw to it - you need a bank account to withdraw.

MM78 04-30-2013 02:39 PM

As rsot said, Vanilla Visa is "Only" for CC verification purposes.

GreenBean 05-01-2013 01:41 AM

Vanilla card only has verification uses.

Be wise with any choices of cards

fgp 05-01-2013 10:16 AM

Thanks guys for the quick reply. So for withdraws just have pp send it to the bank the account was registered with? Correct?

rsot 05-01-2013 01:16 PM

Correct. Withdraw slowly and leave some balance in pp - never drain it all in one shot...could look risky to pp...many threads on this for you

Correct. Never withdraw all the funds. Always go slowly to not raise flags with paypal. Make sure you look around on the forum. Lots of threads explaining this. It's important stealth to know..

bjammin 05-13-2013 04:47 PM

I am very confused on the CC aspect of a stealth account. Let's use Vanilla Visa for example because wals mart is down the street. When I get a Vanilla Visa, what info will vanilla visa want from me? And does PayPal verify the info? If vanilla visa wants info, do I give mine or someone elses? If there is a question I should have asked, please go ahead and answer it. I am a NOOB at this so please explain like I am a complete idiot, lol.

MM78 05-13-2013 05:59 PM

Here is what you do in this specific order:

1. Go buy your Vanilla Visa gift Card($20 should do it)
2. Go Home
3. Open the Vanilla Visa
4. Go to www.vanillavisa.com
5. Click on the "Vanilla Visa Gift Card" link
6. Enter your Cards details
7. Click on "Edit Your Card"
8. Enter ONLY your Stealth Accounts Zipcode

When you create your Stealth Paypal, Paypal want you to enter your Credit/Debit Card Info...when you get to that stage:
1. Enter your Vanilla Card Number, Expiration date, and the CVV Code.

Done!

bjammin 05-13-2013 06:15 PM

That explanation is worth a million. Thank you. It does not get clearer than that. :hail: :hail: :hail: :hail:

MM78 05-13-2013 08:31 PM

Glad that made sense, while your buying your Vanilla...I need a few!!! lol.

If you are buying $25 vanilla gift cards, but have to keep the money on there at all times, aren't you just wasting $25 each time? Is there a point in time when you can spend the money on there?

Dmshark25 06-12-2013 07:31 AM

Once i get the $1.95 verification taken out , i spend the money on the card, i pay my fees using one time payment option using funds from paypal, as long as you always leave enough money to cover fees and maybe an average of 2 refunds , you will be good, and if you ever need to use the VCC again after you spent the funds just reload

You can not reload the Vanilla card without providing SSN and info.

Dmshark25 06-12-2013 08:00 AM

yes you can, you need to buy the one that you can load between $25-$500 , that is the one you can buy at 7eleven or walmart. You bring it to the cashier and just say you want to load $500, you give $504.95 to the cashier ($4.95 is fee in most places) and they swipe the card and hand it back to you , you never give them you ss#, i did this 30 times

After the verification amount, you just keep a couple of bux on it - can spend rest on gas or so (example)

Shay 06-13-2013 08:11 AM

Does anyone know if a Vanilla Visa will work on iOffer to verify a seller account? iOffer will charge a small mystery amount to the card and you have to be able to tell them what the amount was.

For Amazon yes - you would be wise to keep 10-20 on the card...I have heard of test charges of 15+ (no real experience though) but lot of people say 10-15 is safe...

When you account gets suspended.

In the help section about types of cards it says that they may do a preauth up to $4 so I think if you keep at least that much you should be OK.
