All Greendot problems
 

problem receiving payments with any greendot based prepaid from amazon and ebay. real info and deposits in real name. All of a sudden they have problems..Cards get shut down wtf?? lost some funds ..

Lot of problems with green dot cards for long time now just do a search. If everything is in your real info both amazon and the card call them up and find out what the problem

Greendot based aarp and halogen. locked out of cards ?? don't know why Think they are in cahoots somehow.maybe they do not like getting deposits from amazon and paypal and half.com... weird. I will do a search for different based cards.

The only thing I remember GreenDot being useful for was to get money into PayPal without going through a bank account - but now you need to enter an SSN to use it.

Walmart cards have worked for me. But I definitely prefer actual bank accounts.

If your accounts are all real than try amex prepaid and visa vanilla they work great if deposits are in same name and charge no monthly fee, amex you can get 3 prepaid cards plus the serve or bluebird and vanilla I have 5 opened up over 5 months all work great no monthly fee

to withdraw from vanilla prepaid card names have to match ?

Yes the op disclosed already he is using real name on his accounts

From prepaid card? No - just address. To the prepaid card? You have to make sure card is reloadable.

Be careful what type of card you use if you are not USA based.

On the above stated cards that names need to match, what about same name but one letter dropped from the first or last name?

Please do not EVER jack a forum. There are ways, but the ways require LOTS of fees in sense and extra trouble. Just better to find a bank that allows mismatched names.
