Don't use netspend on paypal anymore!
I had five accounts bringing in about $10,000 each per month for a little over a year. All the accounts have a netspend/metabank account linked to them.
Everything was fine during this time, but today all the accounts have been limited with a few thousand in each account.
The bank accounts have been removed from the accounts and the "confirm and link bank account" screen on the limitations page is not allowing me to use them again. At first it said...
"The account you've entered needs an additional review before we can proceed. Please add a different bank account. If you'd still like to use this bank account, please contact Customer Service." Then it just went to an error page.
I called and was transferred to someone in Phase 2 limitations. They didn't know why that was happening and said the limitation was about my sales. Either they are lying or this bank issue is coming from higher up in the chain and the people under them are not being told about it.
The limitation is clearly about the bank account. If it was about my sales why would they wait a year to contact me and I never had one claim, charge back, or case about my sales from any customers.
I know paypal never really liked netspend, but something just changed big time with them.
Get your money out asap if you use netspend! The hatchet is coming down!
