What's wrong with using the debit card of your bank account on paypal?

It has your NAME on it.

Recommended to avoid ever doing that to prevent paypal from seeing info paypal should NOT be seeing.

If you sub in the name the paypal account is set up with on that debit card...do they actually ever see the name on the debit card...or do they just go off the card number?

They will only see the info YOU provide them - not the name - keep the stealth name on the account - a basic stealth question you have asked.

They won't see the NAME on the card, but they use AVS, meaning they will try to match the stealth address with the billing address on the credit/debit card. AVS matches the NUMBERS in the address:

Stealth User
1234 Main Road #333
Anytown, USA 54321

So, you want to use a VCC, or use a gift card where the address can be registered.

The address on a persons debit card can usually be changed online in a few minutes. Once you charge the card, just change it back.

I will say however, this is not an anonymous as a vcc or gift card.

OK...one thing I'm missing....if you activate a visa/mc they require a SSN? what do you do if its a stealth name and address.

A MasterCard/Visa what?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong explaining this????? I bought 2 cards.... a Walmart pre loaded MC and a Walmart loaded Visa

The only way those cards are going to work is if the info on the cards match your Paypal info, if not...it's not going to work. A better option would be a Vanilla Visa Gift Card.

Any Vanilla Visa Gift Card will work. All you have to do is register the Zipcode of your Stealth and off you go.

You and I do not sync well....but thanks for the help......The answer to my question would have been something like this:....By Vanilla Visa...I mean, any Visa Gift card...OR:...NO, Vanilla Visa is a specific "brand" of Visa and that's the specific one you need.....but like I said, thanks anyway.

I've seen the vanilla on ebay some time ago but not now.

I can't find prepaid cards on street shops where I live.

In which country are you based? Dont see your flag - speak to seller here who can hook you up with vcc

You can look for other options.

Would not expect you to find US based cards locally.

Portugal. Don't know why you don't see the flag.

I can generate vcc's (non avs) but I wanted the vanilla cards for US accounts.

There are sellers this forum that can help you with vcc's for the US.

Be careful that the cards you buy online from people are not from blacklisted providers

What if your real debit card matches the address on file with paypal?
Im not worried about them charging it because it will be canceled in a few weeks anyway.

Just a heads up, "vanilla" is sometimes used as a technical term for "plain jane" "bone stock" "original" "unmolested" "unbranded". I could see the confusion between the answers and questions for the beginner stealther.
