How fast can u open several bank accts without being marked on ChexSystems?
 

I read some people saying that if you open multiple ones too quickly, like one per day, that there is going to be a note on your chexsystems as potential fraud. How often would you open them if you wanted to do it?

I recently opened a couple and at this last bank they made me bring the SSN before they would open. This has never happened before. Before they would just take my word for the social. They said it might be related to age of the SSN. You think it's bank-specific or did I get marked on chexsystems for opening multiple accounts within too few days?

The only way chexsystems will have information on you or your accounts is by writing bad checks. Unless you write a bad check or stop paying your banking fees, chexsystem does not know who you are.

I've ordered and read my chexsystem report. My report was empty and I have several checking accounts. If you want to know the deal with whats on your report, order one. Beats the heck out of getting "contradictory information" and you will have piece of mind, right? Good luck!
