did I buy the wrong prepaid card?
 

Hi,

I might have messed up and bought the wrong kind of prepaid credit card. fortunately I only put $50 on it just to get a feel for setting up my first of hopefully 10 accounts.

Here is the problem(?):
It is a "Balance Financial" card picked up from WalGreens. After I bought it and popped the glue open I see that I have to activate the card with name, address, DOB, SSN. Since my SSN is burned by EB/PP I am wondering if this wil cause me problems.

Yes, you messed up.

Vanilla Visa debit card works (avail at walgreens)
Vanilla Visa gift card works (avail at walgreens)
Vanilla Visa Pre-Paid does not work

Don't know where you live....Your going to have to do your homework and go out to different places to find it.....Kind of hard for me to search every State/City and find them for all....

Check SuperMarkets....

No...These are free! lol. I love these cards, get more for my buck. I still use Vanilla's every once in a blue moon.

I have yet to find that 3 pack of $15 yet where I live, always keeping an eye out

There's a Safeway about a mile away that has it for me. Works beautifully

No, I have cvs, walmart, rite aid, walgreens , etc...

They all just have either the $20-$500 or $25 and up ones

But I started using Entropay this year which works great and made 20 cards from that
