Hi, I just wondered if someone could tell me the purpose of a vcc when creating a stealth account? I understand that another bank account has to be set up etc for new account at a new address but just wondered where the vcc came into it?

Oh ok but I thought to verify the account you need an account number and sort code?

If you are referring to paypal UK, there are two steps needed.

A bank account verifies the paypal account ( hence account number & sort code).

A VCC confirms the paypal & raises limits.

Two different functions but both needed for UK paypals to be verified and confirmed.

Oh ok, didn't realise you needed both! So the bank account is where they will send the verification code too ? So how does the vcc increase limits etc how does this work?

It's probably best to go to PayPal.com and read what it says about getting verified and confirmed and their benefits. I feel we're spoon feeding you information which is easily accessible from Paypal.com.

Ok sorry to be a pain! I have an e bay and paypal account already just didn't understand the vcc bit that's all, as in didn't understand the purpose of it if you already have an account to use
