Bank just shut down my accounts...
 

BBT bank just shut down my accounts after i tried to open 2 additional accounts, they said it was a security risk, so i called them and said i do online sales, they want me to come into the branch and said they would need to call corporate to get it approved... my question is this.... Should I go to the branch or do you think they will arrest me or just get everything approved? I dont know what to do... She said deposits were coming in under different names... any help on this matter would be great... had about $400 in the accounts.

Arrest you? I doubt that.

Tell them this is how you get paid. I told my bank i have clients that i am a personal trainer for, they are consistent clients, and i attach my bank to their paypal so i can receive payment as a form of direct deposit.

Arrest you? For what? It is not illegal to have deposits in your account from another person.

However, I would recommend going to another bank. I don't know what the success rate is with BBT, but there are several banks where mismatched names are not an issue. Search the forums, there are several. Chase and B of A come to mind.
