How to remove credit card from limited account
 

Hello.I want to remove credit card from my paypal account which is limited or I just want close account but answer from paypal is I can't because my account is limited.What are my solutions?

reason for removing card from paypal is i need this card for another paypal account.

You will not be able to reuse the card.

Just because the card gets removed does not mean that PayPal will forget about it. All its details will still be stored on PP's sytems.

You can never reuse a credit card on another account.

When paypal says an account is limited, it means very little can be done to use that account, ie, it is limited.

I don't think you can remove credit card or bank account once pp gets limited

And the card that is attached to a limited paypal account can not even make a purchase

Say someone sends u an invoice from a paypal account and u enter in the card manually the transaction will not go thru, it will say use another card

So they pretty much ban your card

Best thing to do is to contact your credit card company and have a new card issued, just say that it's attached to a paypal account and they refuse to release the card and with the recent data breaches over at eBay has you concerned, if it's the first card that u needed reissued than I think by law it's free

And u can ask them if they can keep the card active until you activate the new one so that you are not without a credit card

I have a Barclay card attached to a paypal account that I use to make purchases from suppliers, and I received a letter basically saying that the card has been used to make

a lot of paypal transactions and we do not feel comfortable with that company because of the latest data breaches , so to remedy the situation we have issued a

new card to you with a new number, the original card will stay active for 25 days or until u activate the new one sent

Now they weren't so blunt in the letter,but from the day I received it just 3 months ago I added it to paypal and made 99% of purchases through paypal with there card

So you can kind of see the attitude banks have with security of paypal, and like they said my card worked up until I received the new one today and activated it

So your best bet is to get a new card

I'll never allow paypal to hold on to any working cards , no way, they think they own the world, maybe in there corner they do but they can put holds but you are still in control and can close cards , banks, or tell banks not to allow eBay/ paypal to touch 1 cent, Bank of America is good when it comes to that

There are almost no solutions, but to have a new card. That is what I would do.

Get a VCC from the aspkin marketplace on these forums, costs about $10

I dont even think paypal will let you remove any financial information when limited, your best bet is just close the credit card / bank account directly with your bank.
