Entropay and bank of america bad combo?
 

I keep topping up my entropay account with bank of america my debit card and everytime I top up it up I have to call bank of america to unfreeze my account. Is there an issue with these 2 companies?

Many banks deem transactions with Entropay as high risk.

This happens with a lot of UK banks as well.

The bank is just trying to protect itself and also your money from potential fraud.

Yeah there is nothing you can do but call in and let them know that it is you that made the transaction

I even asked if there was a way that they could out Entropay on a list of sites that I use, but they basically told me its a security issue so whatever

And I make $20 transactions usually at a time nothing big

But I added a credit card , capitol one card and I never had an issue , I think one time I received an email and I just needed to click a link and that just sent them the ok for the transaction but no call ins

And my credit card treats it as a purchase so I get 1% cash back , but becareful I don't know if every credit card will treat this as a transaction , some may treat it as a cash advance

No. Standard practice with banks.

Security is the reason.

Are you able to consider bank transfers if that option exists for you.
