I have used the WalMart money card because I heard that while most cards who have the banking handled by Metabank were not good for stealth the WalMart MoneyCard WAS. So, I tried it and was able to withdraw 3 or 4 times for between $50 and $100 and then then WalMart called me and told me that while I was still welcome to use the card, they would not allow any further deposits from any names not listed on the account. And to get listed, they needed the name of the other party and their SSN.
And PayPal and Amazon do not like the bank accounts attached to the cards and they CAN easily identify them. I don't know if it is through the routing number or due to the fact that the account numbers are abnormally large, but they are definitely aware of them.
There are only two basic things that work for stealth - that I know of - a real bank account or a virtual bank account. And VBA's won't work with Amazon. Amazon could verify them, that is not the problem, but you cannot withdraw to a VBA. So you MUST have a real bank account for Amazon (or Payoneer MAY work for them, I saw an advertisement for it but I have not looked into it). For eBay, a VBA will work, but you have to either spend the money at eBay or find another way to get the money out of your PayPal account.
And count yourself as lucky! Because in the US, any citizen can open as many accounts as they like as as many different banks as they like. Talk to the people in the UK or Australia and ask what they wouldn't give for that type of ability. It most places it is HARD to get more than a couple of accounts. ` |
