Are There Any Debt Cards That PayPal Will Except As A Bank Account
 

Hello,

My name is Amanda, and i am new here.

I have tried a few debit cards that use to work, but don't now. Are there any prepaid debit cards that paypal will allow as a bank account these days?

Best not to use these cards, your just going to be wasting your time......Best to go with a Bank Account.

I just read that Rush Card, would work. Does any one know for sure, or not? I don't want to waste my time if it want work.

There sure is...it's called opening up a bank account...they work just fine.

Yes, just use the debit card that comes with the checking account you open.

I used a Netspend Direct Deposit PrePaid Card's 'Direct Deposit' Routing/Account Number to receive the 2 microdeposits, and it worked just fine.

Then PayPal accepted all my withdrawals as if it were a regular bank account to load the card.

This was about 2 years ago I attached that account though, but it still works.

Not sure if 'initial' procedure changed in that time period or not....

Netspend is turbo high risk and if it does work name must match

I have done tried a netspend card about a year ago. Paypal would not except it. Accountnow use to work, but i don't think is does now.

Maybe thats why, this was an account i just 'nicknamed' off of my banned real name. E.g. Richard Clark, Dick Clark, might not work otherwise.

Still might not work on netspend it might need to be darn near exact, they have gotten strict and pp does not like netspend at all

Netspend is even worse.....Unless you have used a recently opened Netspend and it worked I might believe it.

amscot debit worked for me once. But I wouldn't recommend with all the changes going on. stick to a real bank.

We advise NOT to do that because of the AVS issues.

Thanks for your help. I just opened a Bank Of America account. I also ordered a Rush debit card. I will let you all know if i can add it as a bank account. If any one has a debit card bank account with paypal, please post it here. Its hard to find information on this topic on the internet.

I use bank accounts myself. Lot of info on the forums about use of bank accounts though

It's been known not to work for years. Only new people who have no experience are the ones starting rumors again that it works. You can search the forum and easily see Rush along with many other all fail.

Rush is probably one of the top,3 Worst cards to use with PayPal , up there with Netspend, and say a MetaBank Western Union prepaid debit card

Prepaid debit cards do have value but not for long term, there are select ones that I'll use, but there use is more like a VBA to verify the PayPal account and make very few withdraws.

Once the account is making money and i know it will last I always add a real bank account afterwards, prepaids are always changing and not reliable, I like to not worry if my funds are going to be deposited or sent back
