Default ING closed my account

yeah i got a call from them today and they asked me a bunch of ?'s and was wondering why i had payments from paypal to my ing account with other names rather then mine so i told them how paypal was and that i had a few [aypal accounts under made up names and they said even though the names are made up its still fuard (whatever) and they said they had to close out my account and i could never use them blah they suck anyway. So i go back to use debit cards i guess cause at least there not picky like ING is

Right, that's why we stop recommending ING awhile back just for this reason. :(

Sorry about that.

Most other banks are okay though.

Did you have any money stuck in ING when they closed you out? I asked because the same thing happened to another Ebayer and they had a tough time getting ING to release their money. Kinda weird but true.

If you have money stuck in ING, they usually just send it to your external back-up bank account (if you have one) and then close your account.

WAMU is a good one to use. Bank of America is also a good one. I have used both of them with no problem. There is also a list that aspkin has made...

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/subscri...-end-list.html

Found it!

I had my ING account closed and they are keeping my $50 plus until I contact Paypal and have paypal contact them. Right. Has this happened to anyone else? Would you continue to use the paypal accounts?

Yeah they stole $30 from me but they didnt give me no opitions to even try to get the $30 back! Lesson learned now days u have to treat any bank account just as u would your paypal account. The money is not your's till its physical in your hands and if any one here is useing ING still be very cautious and make sure the names match on paypal to the name's on ING and don't keep more money in your ING then your willing to lose.
