Gift Cards, Help a Newbe Out!
 

I guess I'm a bit confused about using gift cards to verify your paypal account. The verification checks that the address match what you have put down as your address under your paypal account, doesn't it? How do you get an address on a gift card?

You have the ability to log into the gift card through issuing company and load whatever you want onto the card as your name/address

Using the same virtual card with new ebay and new pp accounts
 

hi, could you please tell me if theres any problem using the same virtual visa to verify a new ebay account, and also use it to verify a new pp account wich will be linked and work with the ebay account mentioned above?
Both will have ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info.

Are you are talking about a true "virtual visa" where the "virtual visa" number is attached to your REAL visa card through the credit card company?
This little card number game will NOT work.
You must use true gift cards that are a single solo account.
Not a virtual piggy back number.

Please add your location to your account here.
eBay/Paypal rules vari by country.
Go to your "User CP" and list your location.
This helps since eBay/Paypal Rules are different by country.

I meant a true virtual visa(walmart silver, gold ones, gift2go, walgreens visa gift card, simons, etc.)

Do I have to use ¨two diferent¨ visa gift cards to verify a brand new pair of ebay and paypal U.S.A. accounts?, both with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info, or i can use the same true virtual visa gift card to set up both accounts with no problem?

You are talking about Gift Cards. Not virtual cards.

Virtual cards are phantom card numbers created by you and the credit card provider that are attached to your real Credit Card.
I know that my CitiBank Visa has Virtual numbers and so does my Discover Card.
I have to log into my real visa account and open a program inside the Visa web site to create a phantom number.
They are meant to be used 1 time for online purchases.

You need 1 Gift Card to open a eBay seller account.
You can use that same card to open and verify the Paypal account that will be attached to that eBay Seller account.
Make sure the Gift Card has the correct user information attached to it before you use it.
To get the user info into the card just log into the card site and enter it.

Do not re-use the card on a different eBay or Paypal account.
eBay & Paypal track the credit card numbers.

so theres no need to transfer from paypal to a bank account, the amounts would be no more than $499 in the paypal account.

I have not get an answer yet in this other thread, its about 5 pairs of wamu accounts (checking & savings)¨, linked to a single debit card¨,

do you know how to select each account for instance, when withdrawing cash from an ATM machine?, or what does appears on the ATM screen to select each wamu account?, I know all ATMs allow you to select at least 3 accounts, checking, or savings, or credit card, but can ATMs also do it with 10 accounts?

Never used xoom.com for anything. Don't know anything about it.

I am not sure about the ATM stuff.
You could just figure out which account is attached to your card.
Then just transfer the money from your accounts into the one connected to the ATM card.
OR better yet.....
Just do a bank transfer from WAMU into your personal account.
That takes about 4 days.

Interesting idea about Xoom, I have used their service before. They will send a re-loadable card to anyone you choose (yourself?), you can then reload the card, a certain amt/ per certain time frame (gotta check that out again). I believe it's a Visa.
