Does Vanilla Visa Gift Card work for setting up new Paypal acct?

Does Vanilla Visa Gift Card work for setting up new Paypal acct? (If so, do I enter my correct address and zip or my stealth address and zip when setting up the account?)
I have read the other related threads and there seems to be conflicting information. Looking for an up-to-date answer please :) Thanks!

In most cases, YES, it works. But you have to register the card at the Vanilla website first. Just the ZIP CODE is actually required. You want to input the same ZIP code that is used for your stealth account.

Yep vanillas still work just use zip of stealth

Havnt had any issues with Vanilla. And I don't even bother changing the zipcode cause it passes the AVS check no matter what the zipcode is. But that's just my experience.

Can't really "top up" but you can use them to make purchases....

So, when you use a vanilla gift card: Do you select "GIFT CARD" on the Paypal page when you verify it? Or can you select credit card?
When I tried to verify an account, it asked for a full address.

You need to REGISTER the zip code of the pp address on the Vanilla Visa site THEN add the cc to PP. You can select credit card.
