buying prepaid cards with another prepaid card?
 

i use mastercard prepaid cards that can be bought at most stores. i use them exclusivly for starting new seller accounts. recently the store i have been buying from is refusing me service even on the $25 cards. ive always used the balance on 1 card to buy the next so im only out the 395 fee.

are other stores tightening their polices regarding buying prepaid cards with another prepaid card?

otherwise ill be stuck with tons of prepaid cards with $25 on them because i wont spend them on anything else.

Stores started hard coding their POS systems so that you could not purchase a gift card with another gift card back in the summer of 2014.

By the end of that summer I remember that the last store that their system wasn't hard coded , and u could sneak a sale in here and their depending on the employee finally got their systems up to date.

Their could be small stores out their that don't have their POS systems blocking sales and you may get a sale in depending on the employee, but in the city where I am that ended a year and a half ago

I been mainly using Entropay the last year and a half, more convenient and you can add as little as $5 than transfer the balance to another card.

Now PayPal has been returning the test charge so virtual cards work great, you could use the same funds over and over now.

But when I had stacks of vanilla cards I'd use them mainly for gas, that was the good thing , as long as u register a zip code they work at the pump

stores that still work-

walgreens, cvs, and speedway.

best to go in late and best to buy 5 or less at a time

I would also have a wad of cash in my hand visible, wrapped around the prepaid cards, then pay with the prepaid cards.

also- dont register the vanillas, then you can use them as "debit" cards and use any pin

That's great, in my state all those stores have shut that down last summer. Rite Aid was the last to program their system so I'd look for a younger employee to checkout with, or when they were busy they would let it go.

It seemed like all the stores put a block on it at the same time, I remember running from store to store, but than, even if an employee didn't know, when Id swipe , the transactions declined automatically.

I was also going to CVS with the vanillas and buying money Pak I'd just use it as a debit card like you mentioned with any 4 digits and it would go through . I'd than add the money Pak to a prepaid debit card I had and use an ATM, was nice if I had a $300 gift card to cash out.

Good to hear it wasn't a complete ban, I guess they banned that where their was a lot of fraud

Buy them with your real card, and then move remainders out by using Neteller.

is neteller a UK processor?

vanillas (and all other usa gift cards) MUST be spent with a USA merchant

im yet to find any CC processors that allow repeated gift card cash-outs
