Default Do I need to leave money on Vanilla Visa?

I am sure this will seem like a very basic question to most of you. I just made my first stealth. I've bought several accounts but this is my first time making one from scratch.

Do I need to leave any money on the Vanilla Visa card after the Paypal and eBay account have been created?

No, once it's used just use it up.

In my experience you should leave at least $1.95 on the card because they will charge the card that much in order to verify it to get rid of the $600 monthly withdrawal limits.

At what point does this usually happen? Do you know?

You decide when it happens.
My suggestion to you is to just do it as soon as you add the card. Get rid of those withdrawal limits and have them charge the $1.95 which will give you the code youll enter into the paypal account to link the card. That charge is then refunded back into the card and you can then spend it out.

How do you go about removing the withdrawal limits? The card is linked but I can't figure out how to get them to run the test charge to remove the withdrawal limits. All the accounts I've purchased in the past have already had this done so this part is new to me.

Along the left hand side on PayPal there is a list of links. Where it says more about your account it says sending limit. Click that link and it will show you all of your limits and show you how to remove them

If you check your "Credit cards" on file and select the card you want - a small window will appear with "Edit card" and "Confirm card" boxes - confirming the card will put the charge on it

The closest thing I can find to that is a link that says "see how much you can send with paypal." I've seen the sending limitations page before on older accounts but I can't seem to find it anywhere on these new accounts. When I click that link it takes me to a page saying I can verify my account by either adding a bank account or getting approved for paypal credit, to get the most out of my paypal account. Do you have to attach a bank account before you are able to see your sending limitations?

When I go to my wallet and click on the card, it only gives me the option to edit. This is a personal account in the "new" paypal view but I've tried all of this on the classic site also. In my wallet the card says confirmed. But I can't verify that sending limitations have been removed since I can't get to that page.

Anyways thank you to everyone who contributed. This isn't an issue at the moment since these are baby accounts. If this becomes a problem I will be back

From the summary page of PP at the bottom left it says: "See How Much You Can Send With PayPal" Click that link... Then on the page it takes you to, "Click" remove spending limit, Keep in mind My option for it is gone since I already verified it and dont have the limit so on this page I'm going off memory. It could also say "remove limit" I don't remember... but I do know there were two columns with options, and the option you want is on the left one.

If you plan on buying a shipping label from ebay for the first sale I would leave the $20 on the card to buy that first shipping label. The option to pay when funds become available is not there for the first transaction which connects paypal and ebay for buying labels. You also need to set the card to be your preferred funding source on paypal before doing this because the bank account will be automatically selected. If you have a VBA that would most likely not turn out good.

I know this is a old post and I'm sure OP knows the answer to this question now. I'm just putting the info here for people searching for an answer to this question. I just went through this my self so its fresh in my head.

Payment for my first label tried to come out of my VBA. I void the label but the damage was already done. Nothing has happened yet its been a week or more but I was told PP will just remove the bank account if there were no funds in it. Maybe the VBA had $3.60 in it???

Thanks pal. That question was several months old and I never had any problems. I ended up adding banks to the majority of the accounts I made so they no longer have limits.

What about the withdraw limit. I am seller. I want to transfer my money from PP to this card and withdraw it from any ATM. How it goes? I was sending to another PP every month 4-5 transactions and later PP told me l have more account and they closed the that one. It was legit account of my girlfriend. They closed it because of sending money from one PP to another and withdraw from another. That time i am looking VVC and I will top up with my PP seller money. Please somebody give some advice.
