Splitting Vanilla Gift Card Balance Question
 

So I have this $200 vanilla visa prepaid gift card and was wondering if i can buy a $100 vanilla visa gift card with it so that I can split this amount into 2 so that each person can have their own gift card? Is this possible to do? I got this card from our local CVS store.

You want to buy another 2 Vanilla Visa's each with $100 each with the $200 Vanilla Visa?

Use the $200 vanilla prepaid gift card to buy 1 - $100 vanilla
OR I could buy 2, it doesn't matter as long as I can split it into 2 vanilla gift card

I just want to know if this is possible to do or if they will allow to purchase gift card with another gift card

No, they don't allow it IN most States......but you can always try it.

I doubt you can use one to purchase 2...up here, as a general rule they won't let you but perhaps smaller mom-pop stores....keep in mind there are activation fees :( so you will have to shell out more cash if doable...

you can try kroger cvs or walmart you can do it. but with the fees it will be less than $100 each. $95 + 4.95 fee. You have to get the $20-$500 and load each one with $95 try using credit or set pin for debit.

I bought gift cards with gift cards at major stores before. The key is to use a self checkout kiosk.
