Problems getting the 4 digit code using Simon Gift Account
 

Hey, I am new to the forum but not new to using the guide and paypal and ebay.

Here is my situation, maybe someone can help me out!

I have a ppal account that has been active for some time (Over 1 year). It recently became limited to $500 monthly withdrawal. I have no idea why, or when this happened. All I know is that I just noticed the "view limits" beside my balance a couple weeks ago.

To remove the limit it requests either a SSN# or to add a debit/creditcard card, as a bank account is already verified.

The first thing I tried was a vanilla visa $25 prepaid card. When I entered it, I got the message: "We cannot send the 4-digit PayPal code to this card. Please choose another card."

I figured it was just vanilla visa, so I went to the old reliable Simon Gift Account that has worked for everyone I know.

Yet again I got the: "We cannot send the 4-digit PayPal code to this card. Please choose another card."

Is the jig up?? Has ppal found a way to block giftcards? Has Simon or Vanilla worked for anyone else lately? Am I alone on this one or are things about to get that much worst!

The strange thing is that I had a verified Credit Card Attached to the account already.

Any ideas would certainly help! :angel:

Something changed very recently because I made a new account paypal and ebay just two days ago and had the same problems!!!!

Vanilla visa received the charge but no code! Even the vanilla visa rep on the phone said they didn't send a code and she is use to seeing it.

Also it took like 3 tries to even get the vanilla visa to register on eBay or PayPal. eBay blocked vanilla visa completely, but paypal (once it failed three times) did the $1.95 charge.

Also ebay seems to know now if your vumber is a vumber because it said I couldn't use this number. Created a new vumber and it accepted (wasn't on a block list I guess)

Give it a couple days zr11.. also send me your activation key for eBay stealth and I'll set you up as subscribed on the forum.

I highly doubt All of simons Giftcards are banned on ebay and paypal now.

They would need ALL of Simon and Vanillas BIN list (First six digits of their card numbers) to block them. It is possible. But not likely.

Simon cards are still good.

I can't get my Vanilla Visa to work today and it worked yesterday. :(
