By now we know that Ethereum and Bitcoin are the real deal. Say what you want about the future of their value, but we know that they are here to stay. At this point they are the established heavy weights of crypto. Yes there is still money to make on them but imagine if you got in on them super early...You would be a cryto-millionaire. I don't believe that the opportunity has come to pass.
I believe that there are more whales/unicorns around the corner. It is a matter of picking the right ones when they are less then a dollar and sitting on them until they are in the double digits to quadruple digits. What are some lesser known CryptoCurrencies that you are looking at, invested in, or mining? Why?
I am currently looking at investing in NXT (about $.20 a coin at the moment), TEZOS (ICO to be announced). I was a little interested in CIVIC but not so sure. For me it is the technology, the people behind the projects, the investors, and the problems that they both solve. I have a few thousand in Litecoin as I believe it is on the cusp of a comeback.

I threw $50-100 in about 20 different currencies for that reason. I'm not touching them for a few years to see what happens.
Others on the forum sold eth but I am still holding on.

I'm about to buy some Eth (sounds more like a substance than a cryptocurrency ) and hold on to it for a few years.
I've been procrastinating on getting in on Eth for about 3 months, and I missed the big boom. So I do deserve missing out on it.
However my strategy with crypto is pretty simple... as soon as Coinbase decide to adopt it, start investing in it, because there's a good chance it's here to stay at that point.
Litecoin is one to consider, adopted by coinbase recently, and has a good chance of sticking around.
I would say in a few years time there will be around 5 major cryptocurrencies lurking around as they become more and more popular, whilst the rest disappear and become valueless. Just my opinion...

Just to add, if your considering investing and haven't bookmarked this, you should, its very useful >>> https://coinmarketcap.com/#GBP

Its a gamble. You could do like jako and diversify into multiple and see which one hits and take your winnings. The privacy aspect of the crypto stuff is kind of a joke anyways considering all of the verification requirements of most exchangers. I guess that is more of a tax thing than a legality thing though.

been day trading a lot in the last 6 weeks, its so easy to make money while bitcoins in this bubble, buy the smaller coins on any sort of dip and you just wait a few hours/days for 10-20% profit.
Siacoin is the only one im holding atm: https://www.inc.com/brian-d-evans/bl...nd-amazon.html
Going to get some steem to hold aswell if it drops below $1.50

What platform are you using to trade? Are you exchanging alt coins for BTC or USD/other fiat? Do the trades lock in instantly? If so, do you have to wait a few days before reusing the funds/withdrawing? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what % are you up from day trading? If you started on May 1 with Ethereum and other alt coins and just held on, you would be up close to 400%. If you're up about 500%, that's probably within the margin of error, so you're just trading for fun vs skill. If you're up about 800%(double the growth), that would be very impressive.

I jumped in very luckily when ripple was spiking. I'm up almost 2000% and wished I invested more
The skills needed for crypto investing:
- be able to hop online at anytime
- keep up to date with crypto news
- realize that people invest/sell with EMOTIONS especially with crypto
- crypto are NOT stocks and barely act like them IMO
- stay strong during low dips
- read up on crypto forums whether its their specific website or reddit
- I personally check my coincap app every few hours because it's almost an addiction now lol, but I would check daily to check on the market
Anyone else can add to it

Buy bitcoins first then trade for others. Lock in instantly, most trades I'm selling within 24 hours. Not sure exactly as I've withdrawn a lot but well over 2000%. Wouldn't say I was skilled, used to trade sports exchanges so understand tech analysis fairly well but wouldn't say that's even all that important in such a bull market where coins double In value when a celeb wears a t shirt lol (pot coin for example). Easy to day trade with such big dips when the markets in a massive up trend. Making silly money trading in and out of Ecc coin today, tiny coin with a lot of potential that people have just picked up on
Expect the whole market will crash within a few weeks, massively over valued anyway and the forking issue with Bitcoin coming on August 1st. More potential with eth and even lite coin than Bitcoin imo

Check out Antshares(China's home-grown currency): https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/antshares
50 million in circulation, 50 million to be awarded to coin holders later in time.

Hard to say. There are the supporters that say it's gonna be huge in China because it's government-backed. There is some mysterious news being announced on June 22.
