Im not a miner so ill stick with my 1080TI for all my gaming needs. Runs my 3 monitor setup on 1440p at ultra settings just fine.

some random mofo was claiming 2.5x that of a 1070 but that sounds completely bogus. someone with money to burn will make a youtube video of it eventually. i wouldve done it and just flipped it on EB if it sucked but i blew enough already. need my ROI before i start buying more nonsense

OTB the regular 1080 was 18MH/s for me...maybe 23/24 with overclock. just seen a few vids where people did ok with the Ti model, but im not paying $750

The main problem with Vega for mining is the HBM2 memory. All of the mining programs need to be adjusted for this type of memory.

If AMD Fury or the Nano can get around 30-32mh/s, surely AMD Vegas can get more than that.

it gets flooded and then they increase the difficulty and then they find a differnet mining method, like back in the old days ASiC was it now its all alt coins with graphics cards, it is a growing changing thing
I think people try and get more out of the mining before the equipment is obsolete, its like an ROI race really
